Bengals promote Hue Jackson to offensive coordinator

Now-former Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden is heading to Washington to clean up the Redskins' mess. So, he has been replaced in-house back in Cincinnati by running backs coach Hue Jackson.
Jackson is most known for his one season (2011) as Raiders' head coach, in which he went 8-8 and was then fired. However, he got good results as the offensive coordinator one year prior to being named head coach. In the 2010 season, the Raiders finished top ten in the NFL in both scoring and total offense.

Fantasy Analysis:

It's an extremely sensible hire. Jackson has experience as a quarterbacks coach, a running backs coach, and a wide receivers coach. And if he could get the 2010 Raiders to be a very productive unit, he should do great things with a Bengals offense that has gobs of young talent. They are already a top-ten offense in terms of yards and points. Greater heights could be awaiting the likes of Andy Dalton @andydalton14, A.J. Green @ajgreen_18, Giovani Bernard, etc.
