Panthers WR Steve Smith, RB Jonathan Stewart listed as questionable, expected to play
Steve Smith's 57 percent health might just be good enough to get him on the field Sunday. Both he and running back Jonathan Stewart are listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers. While Stewart practiced all week, Smith dealt with a setback in his injured left knee. Head coach Ron Rivera wouldn't say if the more-valuable Smith will definitely play, but that "My gut is that [Smith] is going to play."
That's not exactly the finest endorsement of a player's health. I would stay away from Smith against the Niners' tough defense. He'll play, but there's a chance he could just be a decoy for most of the afternoon. Stewart is much less of a concern in fantasy.
