Report: Florida State WR Kelvin Benjamin going pro
The man who scored the last touchdown in this college football season is looking forward to getting into some NFL end zones this fall. Florida State redshirt sophomore Kelvin Benjamin will enter this year's draft, a source close to the player has told Tom D'Angelo of the Palm Beach Post. The 23-year-old scored 15 touchdowns on just 54 receptions this year, including the national championship-winning touchdown Monday.
Benjamin is a height-weight-speed marvel. He is 6-foot-5, 235 pounds with the athleticism to sky over opposing defenders. His biggest negative is his tendency to drop easy passes. Even in a draft that is absolutely loaded with high-end wide receiver talent, Benjamin should hear his name called in the later stages of the first round.
