Bills RB Fred Jackson wants to play 3 or 4 more seasons

Fred Jackson @Fred22Jackson, 32, was the oldest running back to play in at least one game this season, a couple months older than the Texans' Greg Jones. But considering calling it a career isn't occupying a sliver of Jackson's mind. In a Tuesday radio interview, Jackson said he wants to play through the 2016 season, at the very least.
"I want to get three or four more years in," Jackson said. "I confidently believe I can do that. Especially with the workload being split between C.J. (Spiller) and I. That definitely gives me the opportunity to be out here three or four more years and competing with these guys and getting this thing turned around."
Jackson ran for 890 yards and nine touchdowns in 2013. A running back of his age had not rushed for that many yards since 32-year-old Thomas Jones in 2010.

Fantasy Analysis:

Three or four years may be too optimistic, but Jackson will see at least one more season as he is under contract for 2014. After that, it's anyone's guess if a team would give a 34-year-old F-Jax a deal. Going forward, the Bills would be better served to give Spiller more work than the 50-50 split that took shape this season. However, that will only occur if Spiller can stay healthy, something he couldn't do in 2013.
Spiller still has a much higher draft stock because of his age and big-play ability, but Jackson won't just vanish next year. He'll have flex value of his own.
