Eagles 'could be open' to trading WR DeSean Jackson

The Eagles have already re-signed wide receivers Riley Cooper @RileyCooper_14 and Jeremy Maclin @jmac_18. But could they really send their clear No. 1 away? According to Jimmy Kempski of Philly.com, the Eagles won't create a lot of effort to trade DeSean Jackson @DeseanJackson10 for the sake of leverage, but they also wouldn't dismiss the possibility out of hand if sent offers.
"There's an opinion among some in the Eagles organization that Jackson's personality is not a great fit with the locker room culture that Chip Kelly is trying to cultivate, and the Eagles could be open to trading him," Kempski wrote Saturday.

Fantasy Analysis:

Unless Philly gets a huge return, D-Jax isn't going anywhere. Yes, Jackson's attitude is probably worse in the clubhouse than we even know, and he is seemingly always crying out for a better contract. But Jackson is an outstanding field-stretcher and centered in the prime of his career at age 27. He is a big play waiting to happen and one of the top-15 WRs in the game. He is a great fit in Kelly's offense if not his desired culture. And trading Jackson would leave the Eagles with a mediocre player in Cooper and the rehabbing Maclin as their top wideouts.
Jackson put forth his best statistical line in 2013: 82 catches, 1,332 yards, nine touchdowns. Teams can usually put up with bad attitudes if they come with those kinds of numbers.
