Bears get rid of RB Michael Bush

The Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs reported Monday that the Bears cut running back Michael Bush @michaelbush29 two seasons into his four-year, $14 million deal. Bush worked mostly as the team's goal-line back when Matt Forte @MattForte22 was healthy. In 2012 and 2013 combined, Bush ran for 608 yards and averaged 3.4 yards per carry. He started just one game.

Fantasy Analysis:

So, Bush is leaving Chicago. I presume he's leaving very slowly. He showed Michael Turner-like burst with the Bears (uh, that's not a good thing). It got to the point where the Bears were hurting their offense by taking Forte out near the end zone. Bush's bigger body didn't lead to better results; he scored eight times in two seasons. Bush will turn 30 years old this June, and considering the soft market that will meet many better, more versatile backs, Bush should cost only the minimum to sign. He's unlikely to have fantasy value again.
