WR Mike Williams traded to Bills, reunites with college coach

Mike Williams @Mikebuc19 is no longer the Buccaneers' problem. They traded him for a sixth-round pick on Friday to the Buffalo Bills, who are coached by Doug Marrone. The same Doug Marrone who was the head coach at Syracuse University in 2009 when Williams played there -- before he quit the team that November
Williams put up good numbers in 2010 and 2012, but he has become more known for his missteps/bad luck off of the field in 2013-14.
It came to light in January that Williams was fined more than $200,000 by the Bills last season for missing mandatory meetings and scheduled rehab appointments for his torn hamstring.
He was arraigned in February on charges of misdemeanor criminal mischief and trespassing, to which he pled not guilty.
Williams was alleged stabbed in the thigh by his brother in March, and he is facing a lawsuit of more than $50,000 for allegedly causing a kitchen fire that damaged a home he rented last summer.

Fantasy Analysis:

Putting all of the off-field stuff aside, I see this as a lateral move for Williams' fantasy value. Instead of being the No. 2 wideout on a team with Josh McCown or Mike Glennon as its quarterback, Williams is probably now the No. 2 wideout on a team with E.J. Manuel @EJManuel3 as its quarterback. It's a good get for Manuel as Williams is a big target who has scored 25 touchdowns in 54 career games, but Williams is more of a low-end WR3.
