Brian Westbrook sprains ankle; status for week 3 in question

We saw what a sprained ankle did to LaDainian Tomlinson for week 2. Now another star running back, the Eagles' Brian Westbrook, has gone down with a sprained ankle and NFL.com is reporting that he may miss week 3. Westbrook missed most of the fourth quarter against the Saints and finished with just 52 yards rushing on 13 attempts. Westbrook, who says the ankle feels sore, had surgery to remove scar tissue and bone fragments from the ankle back in June.

LeSean McCoy would become a very valuable fantasy player if Westbrook were to miss any games. McCoy gained 55 yards on nine carries on Sunday. The Eagles face Kansas City next week, so no matter who is at running back for Philadelphia, they will have quite a good matchup waiting for him.
