Jets RB Chris Johnson is apparently OK with sharing carries now

Chris Johnson @ChrisJohnson28 admitted before last season he "didn't like" that the Titans signed Shonn Greene and said, "I didn't think it was a smart move."
After the season, Johnson complained that he wasn't being used enough even though he finished with the fifth-most touches in the league. Still, Johnson said he felt that he was "wasting the prime years of my career" in Tennessee. So, now he's playing in New York. He's getting paid less money. He's not expected to be a bell-cow back. And just mere months after he made those comments about being underutilized, Johnson has apparently changed his tune. He was told by head coach Rex Ryan and offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg that he will indeed be sharing carries as a Jet. And Johnson sounds cool with that.
"Basically, it's just a situation of coming in and competing and just doing whatever to help the team win," Johnson said Thursday. "Really, it was that. Not really having too much concern about how the carries are going to be."

Fantasy Analysis:

Johnson has no choice; he better fall in line. It can only help if he accepts his new role from the start. I'm not sure if he will remain so team-first for the entire year, but Johnson's words Thursday have to take a little bit of a worry off of the minds of Jets coaches and fantasy owners. Johnson is probably best drafted as a low-end RB2 with Chris Ivory @ivory_29 expected to take on most of the early down work.
