With the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select DE Jadeveon Clowney

The Houston Texans cracked open Thursday night's 2014 NFL Draft by selecting South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney with the first overall pick.

Fantasy Analysis:

Two extra weeks of waiting for this draft, and after all of the mocks and rumors and conflicting reports, it's as simple as the best player gets drafted first. I'll write about one non-offensive player tonight, and it's got to be Clowney, an explosive physical marvel who now will team with J.J. Watt @JJWatt to form what should be an absolutely nasty pass-rushing duo for years to come. Andrew Luck, Jake Locker, and ... whomever the Jaguars' QB is better keep their head on a swivel this season.
