Buccaneers add to passing offense with Texas A&M's WR Mike Evans

Many people compared Mike Evans to Vincent Jackson @VincentTJackson during this whole draft process.
They will be playing together on Sundays. The Buccaneers selected Evans with the seventh overall pick on Thursday night.

Fantasy Analysis:

Evans is a huge, physical target with good speed and hands. He really is just like a younger V-Jax. Now it's up to Josh McCown to just chuck the ball and see who catches it. He got used to that last year with Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery. The Bucs were in desperate need for a No. 2 wideout, and now they have him. His dynasty value is off the charts. For 2014, I'd rather have Watkins -- especially if the Bills trade Stevie Johnson -- but Evans should be valuable as a bye-week fill-in at least.

I'm fortunate to have the 1st pick in a 12 team ppr with 6 keepers. This is far from a dynasty league but the 1st round always seems to draft as if it were. Most GM's covet the 1st year guys with high upside.

I've been telling my self for the last 3 months, I'm taking Watkins. Now, Evans gets drafted by my favorite team. Yes, I'm a total Bucs homer. Go ahead, get your laughs in. I was in the same position in 2012 (1st overall) and even though everyone said I was retarded, I took Doug Martin over T-Rich.

What say you, Brian?

Now that Stevie is gone from Buffalo, I think I have to take Watkins over Evans in a keeper league. I know it's difficult, but try your best to quell your fandom so it doesn't hurt you in the draft.

I'm typically good about not being a homer in re-drafts. It's a little tougher in a keeper, though. Appreciate the quick response, thanks.
