Browns WR Andrew Hawkins impressing in OTAs

Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins @YoungBabyHawk doesn't stand tall, but he is definitely standing out during organized team activities. He has been receiving passes and rave reviews from players on offense and defense.
First-round rookie cornerback Justin Gilbert said he would rather guard Josh Gordon @JOSH_GORDONXII than Hawkins because "he's so little and quick. ... He's out there making plays every day."
Quarterback Brian Hoyer @bhoyer8 paid the 5-foot-7 wideout quite a compliment through a comparison.
"The one guy I like more and more every day I work with is Andrew Hawkins," Hoyer said. "The guy runs his routes so hard. It reminds me a lot of my time in New England with (Wes) Welker, where the guy runs every route to win. He's going full blast."

Fantasy Analysis:

Injuries come with the territory of being as small as Hawkins is -- he missed half of the 2013 season due to a foot injury -- but he could be produce a sizeable profit this year for fantasy owners if he stays healthy.
Given Cleveland's uncertainties at wide receiver -- Gordon's upcoming suspension, Miles Austin @MilesAustinIII's hamstrings, Earl Bennett @Agent_Orange80 being Earl Bennett, and just about everyone else either currently injured or still working their way back from an injury -- Hawkins should be on Hoyer's radar often. He may end up being the Browns' second-most productive receiver behind tight end Jordan Cameron. That may not give him every-week WR3 value, but his speed and quickness ensure that he will have a least a few big Sundays.
