Pierre Thomas practices fully; Lynell Hamilton gets first-team touchesNew Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton wouldn't say whether or not Pierre Thomas would be healthy enough to play Sunday versus Buffalo, but it's a good sign that Thomas practiced fully on Wednesday as he continues to recover from a sprained MCL. If he is healthy, he will probably step in for Mike Bell, who was stepping in for Thomas before he sprained his right knee in week 2. But Lynell Hamilton also cannot be ignored. The undrafted 24-year-old from San Diego State told reporters Wednesday that he received most of the reps with the first team and expects to have a heavy workload against Buffalo Source: Players Involved: Team Involved: More NFL News & Rumors:11/18 - Clinton Portis "very doubtful" for Sunday11/18 - JaMarcus Russell finally benched; Bruce Gradkowski to start for Raiders 11/18 - Ronnie Brown placed on injured reserve 11/18 - Antonio Bryant expected to return for Tampa Bay 11/18 - Westbrook already ruled out for week 11 11/18 - Julius Jones out for week 11 11/18 - Ronnie Brown could be out for rest of season 11/18 - Report: Kyle Orton likely to play despite ankle injury 11/18 - Dwayne Bowe suspended four games 11/18 - Shakeup in Buffalo: Dick Jauron fired, Trent Edwards benched News Archive NFL News Feed: Subscribe to FFToolbox NFL News and Rumors by Email |
