Report: Dolphins RB Knowshon Moreno is battling some sort of injury

It's fair to say Knowshon Moreno @knowshonmoreno's first year with the Dolphins isn't off to a great start. First, he reported to OTAs overweight and fell behind Lamar Miller @millertime_6 on the team's running back depth chart. Now we find out he's been hurt for a while. Specifics haven't been made available yet; all Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel has heard from a source is that the former Broncos star "has been battling a medical issue" for a couple of weeks and needs some time off to recover.
Just how much time? Again, that is unknown.

Fantasy Analysis:

Perhaps this injury forced Moreno to quit working out and led to him putting on the extra pounds? Just try to connect dots here.
This is a reminder that before his huge 2013 season, Moreno had a rather lengthy injury history. His body might be feeling the effects of the career-high 302 touches he shouldered last year. Moreno is being drafted far ahead of Miller right now -- Moreno's average draft position is in the eighth round while Miller's is in the 14th -- but I'd rather own the latter. Although, I understand that the two will probabaly change places on the Dolphins' depth chart multiple times before the season and probably during it, too. This situation seems like it is destined to be messy.
