Packers WR Davante Adams struggled with drops during OTAs, minicamp

The Packers want second-round rookie Davante Adams to play some part in picking up the slack left behind by the departed James Jones this season. For that to happen, the wide receiver will have to start catching the ball more consistently.
Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com wrote Monday that Adams struggled with drops during organized team activities and minicamp.

Fantasy Analysis:

Jones dropped too many passes during his tenure in Green Bay. The Packers certainly don't want to see Adams picking up that bad habit as he tries to replace the new Oakland Raider.
Demovsky says Adams "may eventually supplant" Jarrett Boykin @BoyKinHeCatch as the Packers' No. 3 wideout. Whether that happens this year or later will largely depend on how quickly Adams acclimates to the NFL game. He was one of the best WRs in the college game last year at Fresno State. He is a solid athlete who really knows how to high-point the ball. He is more gifted than Boykin, but he is currently Green Bay's No. 4 receiver at best and worth consideration only in dynasty leagues.
