Packers QB Aaron Rodgers had the best spring of his career

That take came from Packers head coach Mike McCarthy recently, even though he realizes that Aaron Rodgers @AaronRodgers12 always looks good in the spring -- and summer, and usually the fall and winter.
"I think Aaron's had probably his best spring, if I'm going to sit back and try to rank them," McCarthy told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I'll probably say the same thing next year, but I think he's in great shape. I think Aaron's in a great place and had a very exceptional spring."
Rodgers has been completely healed for months from the broken collarbone that sidelined him for half of last season. He has dropped 11 pounds and began doing yoga to improve his flexibility.

Fantasy Analysis:

In basically eight full games last season, Rodgers threw 17 touchdowns, gained about 2,500 yards through the air and gained another 120 on the ground. Double that and you have close to what Rodgers would have finished the year with if he hadn't suffered that break versus the Bears. He is in the prime of his career and still surrounded by plenty of quality receiving targets, even after the departures of James Jones and Jermichael Finley @JermichaelF88. I think Rodgers is No. 3 overall fantasy QB, behind only Brees and Peyton.

This is a scary proposition for other NFC teams. I can see him being behind Brees, and Peyton based on last season alone. But at some point, you would have to guess Manning is going to start to regress. Could this be the season?
