Eagles injury update: Brian Westbrook out, DeSean Jackson will play

Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook will sit out Sunday's game against Kansas City due to an ankle injury. LeSean McCoy will start in his place. At least wide receiver DeSean Jackson will play despite a strained groin. He will start alongside rookie Jeremy Maclin because Kevin Curtis is inactive due to a hamstring injury. Oh, and as if you didn't already expect it, quarterback Donovan McNabb is out with that broken rib. Kevin Kolb will start, but Michael Vick will get about 15-20 snaps as well.

Fantasy Analysis:
It's probably a good move for the Eagles to rest Westbrook, considering that they can probably beat KC without him and that they have a bye next week, so he will get a good rest. If you are looking for a flex start today, McCoy is an awesome start. Jackson is still a good play this week, but do know that it is raining in Philly and that puts him at a decent risk to hurt that groin again on a slippery surface.
