Sammy Morris doesn't make trip to London

After holding their final practice of the week, the New England Patriots left for London on Thursday in anticipation for their Sunday game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But according to the Boston Globe, running back Sammy Morris was not spotted amongst the travel party when the team departed from Gillette Stadium. He is one of only five Patriots who didn't practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and other names on that list include players who are already certain to miss the game, including Fred Taylor, Julian Edelman and Matt Light. Morris suffered a knee injury in the early stages of the team's week six blowout win against the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Analysis:

With Morris seemingly unavailable for Sunday, Laurence Maroney @LaurenceMaroney looks to be the team's No. 1 running back with Kevin Faulk @feezy_k getting some work on third down and BenJarvus Green-Ellis @TheLawFirmBJGE getting some spare carries and maybe the goal-line touches. The Buccaneers sport one of the league's worst defenses, so Maroney makes for a great flex play this weekend and maybe even a No. 2 RB in more shallow leagues. Green-Ellis is probably the second-most desirable Patriots running back in fantasy this weekend, but he is only a desperation play. Morris has a history of injuries and there is no word right now on when the team expects him to play again; considering that we are dealing with the Patriots, any further information on his injury will be hard to find.
