Josh Freeman now under center in Tampa BayTampa Bay Buccaneers rookie quarterback Josh Freeman made his NFL debut last Sunday, playing two series in the fourth quarter of a 35-7 loss to the New England Patriots in London. He'll get to play a lot more than two series after the Bucs return from their week eight bye. Head coach Raheem Morris announced Wednesday that Freeman will be the team's starting quarterback versus the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 8. Freeman, who was the 17th pick in the 2009 draft, completed 2 of 4 passes for 16 yards against the Patriots. Freeman's promotion moves Josh Johnson back to second string, which is where he was when Byron Leftwich started the season's first three games. Johnson started the team's past four games and completed 50.4 percent of his passes for 685 yards with four touchdowns and eight interceptions. In his final game as the starter, Johnson completed just 9 of 26 passes for 156 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.
