Westbrook misses practice Friday, still expected to play

On Wednesday, Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook said he would be "good to go" for Sunday night's game versus the Dallas Cowboys. Westbrook practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, but missed Friday's practice as he continues to recover from a concussion that he suffered in week seven against the Washington Redskins. Still, head coach Andy Reid said that the exclusion was just a precaution and that "[Westbrook] has taken every rep for the last two days here." Westbrook missed last week's game against the New York Giants and is listed as questionable to play against the Cowboys.

Fantasy Analysis:
Rookie running back LeSean McCoy will still get a good amount of action. He ran for 82 yards and a touchdown on just 11 carries in Westbrook's absence last week and will probably get about 5-10 touches each week. But Westbrook has some very good numbers in his career against the Cowboys and is, at the least, a worthy flex start in 10-team leagues this week. He will probably get 15-20 touches since he is healthy again. Of course, you know this won't be the last time (or even the next-to-last time) that we update Brian Westbrook's health this year. He's already missed two games this season and we just passed that midpoint of the season.

Players Involved:
RB Westbrook, Brian, PHI
RB McCoy, LeSean, PHI
