Darren McFadden, Chaz Schilens to finally play

This Sunday will finally be the day. After weeks of anticipation that later gave way to disappointment, this Sunday will mark the return of Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden and wide receiver Chaz Schilens. McFadden has been out since injuring his knee in a week four game against the Houston Texans. He had arthroscopic surgery on that knee. Schilens hasn't played all season after breaking his foot in the preseason. He was expected to miss 2-4 weeks, but did suffer some setbacks in his recovery. Both players participated fully in practice during the week and are listed as probable to play against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Analysis:
Both players have great upside, but that is limited just because they are Raiders. McFadden was expected to be the team's best running back this season, but before he got hurt, Michael Bush was the most effective runner. After he got hurt, it was Justin Fargas who became the team's No. 1. McFadden's role isn't clear right now, but for what it's worth, I think he will be the team's most productive back going forward this season. He practiced regularly during the team's week nine bye, so his health shouldn't be questioned. Schilens was a good sleeper WR in August after being named one of the team's two starting wideouts and looking impressive in the team's first preseason game. Like McFadden, I think he will be the team's most productive player at his position for the rest of the season. But looking at Oakland's receiving corps, that's not really a tall order. Schilens is a guy that you may want to take a chance on in deeper leagues.
