Jamal Lewis 50-50 to play Monday night

Running back Jamal Lewis is probably the only Cleveland Browns player that anyone who is not in a 20-team league should care to own. But even he may not play Monday night versus the Baltimore Ravens. Lewis has been bothered by an ankle injury that has limited him in practice all week. He is listed as questionable to play. Lewis recently said that this will be his final season in the NFL; if he sticks to that, this game will be his last against the team that gave him a shot in the league and the team whose jersey Lewis will wear when he is likely inducted into the Hall of Fame one day. Jerome Harrison would see more carries if Lewis can't go.

Fantasy Analysis:
I think Lewis will play, considering the opponent and the primetime aspect of the game. Lewis talked a lot during the week about how head coach Eric Mangini isn't getting the most out of his players on Sundays because he works them too hard during the week and in training camp. It wouldn't look good for Lewis to miss the first game after he made those comments. But you know that Lewis isn't a very good start. The Ravens' run defense isn't what it used to be (see: Cedric Benson), but they should be able to put the clamps on an older, slower back such as Lewis and disrupt a sub-par offensive line.
