Ronnie Brown has multiple foot injuries, is surely out of Thursday's game

Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown left Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a sprained ankle. However, that's not even the injury that worries the team most. According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, Brown also has a foot injury that has the team very concerned. He will certainly miss the team's game on Thursday against the Carolina Panthers. It is unknown if Brown has a mid-foot sprain, also known as a Lisfranc injury, which could keep him out for quite a while. Brown went down midway through the third quarter after he broke a long run and then fumbled while fighting for extra yardage. Without him, the Dolphins didn't use the Wildcat again or sub in Pat White for the "Pistol" offense during the second half of the Bucs game.

Fantasy Analysis:
Lisfranc injuries are extremely debilitating for running backs. Those injuries make it extremely hard to put weight on the foot and with little blood supply to that area, those are very slow to heal. But that's just speculation. With Brown definitely out for week 11, Ricky Williams will receive more carries against a bad Carolina Panthers rush defense. Brown usually handles the Dolphins' Wildcat formation, so the big question is if this means whether Williams moves into that role or if White gets more playing time. The Dolphins can't just abandon their most effective offense only because Brown is hurt. Keep your hopes up that Brown is able to return for Miami's week 12 game, which presents another good match-up: The Buffalo Bills.
