25. Spencer Levin - World Ranking: #169

Last week, Levin was challenging for a top-30 finish until two uneven rounds over the weekend left him to finish T64. In the Sony Open, Levin had a top-10 brewing until dropping to T23 in the final round. If Levin can close better this week, he’ll have his third straight finish of 22nd or better at Torrey Pines.

26. Fredrik Jacobson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #47 - Not Entered

Last year the veteran from Sweden only missed four cuts in 25 starts, tallying three top-10s, 11 top-15s and winning for the first time on Tour. Despite being 53rd in All-Around ranking, Jacobson was sixth in strokes gained – putting and 11th in scoring average. He's finished 25th and 23rd, respectively, in his last two starts at Torrey Pines.

27. Y.E. Yang [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #132

In 18 starts last year, Yang missed four cuts while earning five top-10s and eight top-25s. Over his final five starts of 2011 while playing overseas, he registered a top-five and two more top-10s. While Yang has yet to land in the top-40 in three starts at Torrey Pines, he’s playing well and capable of starting his 2012 season with a good result.

28. Anthony Kim

While he missed the cut last week, Kim grabbed a pair of T3 finishes while playing in Asia recently. Last year, he finished a career-best T6 at Torrey Pines. Still, Kim hasn’t been the same since returning from surgery to repair a torn thumb ligament, so there’s still plenty of risk here.

29. Stewart Cink [Yahoo Class C]

In 2008, Cink finished T3 in this event and T14 in the U.S. Open. He would skip Torrey Pines until last year, where he finished T51. Cink struggled in the second half last season and needs to reclaim the form he found here in 2008 to compete.

30. Ryuji Imada

On one hand, Imada has a decent track record at Torrey Pines. He owns five top-20s in six starts since 2007, including the 2008 U.S. Open. On the other hand, Imada missed the cut last year and has missed a total of five cuts in his final eight starts, including the Fall Series. There are no guarantees here, but Imada has a shot as a deep sleeper.
