Golf Rankings for AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
A monster on the Japan Golf Tour, Bae has finished 33rd or better in three starts this season on the PGA Tour with one top-15. He currently ranks 16th in scoring average, 24th in birdie average and 29th in All-Around Ranking. Bae is only 25 years old, but continues to hold his own in the states.
In his last start at Pebble Beach, Pampling finished T27 in the 2010 pro-am. In his last two starts this season, he finished T8 and T15. Pampling never put together this type of streak since 2008, so it is hard to believe this run can last much longer.
Jim Furyk [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #27
It is hard to know what to expect from the 2010 FedExCup Champion. Furyk struggled last year, missing five of six cuts at one point. He hasn’t been much of a factor in this event anyway. Furyk missed the cut last year and finished outside of the top 30 the two prior years, but did manage a T16 in the 2010 U.S. Open.
While Mallinger has missed two of his cuts this season, he finished with a share of second in the Humana Challenge. At Pebble Beach, he finished third in both the 2007 and 2008 pro-am events and T22 in the 2010 U.S. Open. However, Mallinger missed the cut here last year, so there is some risk here.
After missing two cuts to begin the season, Trahan finished fourth last week. At Pebble Beach, he owns a pair of top-10s in his last three starts. Trahan is far from a sure thing, but he has proven to be capable.
Bob Estes [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #144
Estes finished T4 at the pro-am in 2009 and T16 in 2010. He did not start in this event last year, but recently finished T22 in his first start of 2012.
