While the younger Molinari brother missed five straight PGA Tour cuts last year, he’s been impressive at Doral over the last two years while remaining a fixture on the European Tour. He finished T3 in this event a year ago after notching a T14 in 2010.

After an uneven start to the season, McDowell rebounded from a poor opening round at The Honda Classic to finish inside the top 10. He finished with a T6 at Doral in 2010, but has finished outside of the top 40 in his three other starts at the site.

Coming off consecutive T8 finishes in stroke play events, Van Pelt should improve on last year’s T35 at Doral -- his first career start at the site. BVP is currently third in birdie average, fourth in total driving and 21st in All-Around Ranking.

While his resume at Doral is not very impressive, Hanson has been one of the hottest players on the European Tour. Going back to last October, Hanson has not missed a cut while collecting four top-fives and eight finishes of 11th or better in 11 starts.

While the Swede has never competed at Doral, he’s finished T13 and T16 in his two stroke play events this season. After finishing 11th in scoring average a year ago, Jacobson is currently third.

Coming off a dislocated shoulder, Casey isn’t exactly a sure thing. However, he’s got two top-10s and four finishes of 31st or better at Doral in five career starts. In his final six starts of 2011, Casey had one win and four finishes of seventh or better.
