Golf Rankings for Transitions Championship
Jason Dufner [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #16
Over the last three years at Copperhead, Dufner has recorded three consecutive finishes inside the top 30. This season he's tallied three such results in his last four stoke play events. Dufner ranks 19th in birdie average, 20th in total driving and 22nd in All-Around Ranking.
George McNeill [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #153
Since finishing with a share of second place at Copperhead back in 2008, McNeill has since missed straight two cuts and finished T68 last year. However he warrants some attention after winning last week's Puerto Rico Open, although that limited field in no way matches up with this one.
Jeff Overton [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #188
Overton has seen his finish improve over his last three events, reaching a T14 last week at the Puerto Rico Open. Overton finished T19 at Copperhead in 2009, but withdrew in the first round the following year and skipped the event in 2011.
Ryo Ishikawa [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #78
Ishikawa has missed two consecutive cuts at Copperhead and finished with a solo 71 in his first start at the site in 2009. He is coming off a solo second in last week's Puerto Rico Open, offering some deep sleeper consideration. The top-ranked Japanese player in the world finished T13 at Torrey Pines back in January.
Padraig Harrington [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #174
Harrington finished T8 in his first career start at Copperhead in 2010, but missed the cut last year. The Irishman began his Tour schedule with a T7, but has finished outside of the top 40 in his last two starts.
John Rollins [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #135
Is the party over already? After opening the season with three top-10s in four starts, Rollins has missed two straight cuts. He did finish with a T20 at Copperhead a year ago but his sudden slide should have you worried.
