1. Luke Donald [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #29

Following a T6 at Doral and a victory at Copperhead, Donald finished a disappointing T32 last week at the Masters. However, Donald remains No. 1 in the OWGR after being surpassed briefly by Rory McIlroy and has been excellent at Harbour Town. Over the last three years he’s finished no worse than third at the site. Donald currently ranks first in strokes gained – putting and should easily take advantage of this limited field.

2. Matt Kuchar [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #6

Entering Harbour Town with three straight top-10s in stoke play events this season, highlighted by a season-high T3 in the Masters, Kuchar now sits seventh in scoring average and ninth in both greens in regulation percentage and All-Around Ranking. Surprisingly, Kuchar has only one top-10 at this week’s venue since 2007. After a slow start to the season, Kuchar is fully primed to reverse his lack of success at the Heritage.

3. Jim Furyk [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #21

Since 2002, Furyk has accumulated half a dozen top-15s at Harbour Town with four finishes inside the top five, including a pair of runner-up performances and a victory in 2010. This season Furyk has four finishes of 11th or better over his last five stroke play events. He currently ranks first in driving accuracy percentage and sixth in scoring average.

4. Bo Van Pelt [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #106

Over his last five stroke play events Van Pelt owns four top-10s and is coming off a T17 at Augusta where he posted a thrilling tournament-best round of 64 on Sunday. While BVP missed the cut at Harbour Town last year he finished 13th or better in three of four prior events, including a T3 from 2010. Van Pelt ranks second in strokes gained – putting, fourth in birdie average and first in both total driving and All-Around Ranking.

5. Brandt Snedeker [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #20

Despite missing two straight cuts at Harbour Town, Snedeker won this event last year. Snedeker got off to a hot start this season with a win at Torrey Pines in January, but took a slide in March until bouncing back last week with a T19 at the Masters. While not playing at this best recently, Snedeker has some positive momentum heading into his title defense.

6. Webb Simpson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #27

In seven stroke play events this season, Simpson has three top-10s and has not missed a cut, but has finished 35th or worse on four occasions. Last year’s leader in All-Around Ranking is down to 33rd in the category thus far in 2012. Simpson has finished T14 in each of the last two years at Harbour Town and needs to channel those performances to get his season back on track.

7. Aaron Baddeley [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #200

Since winning the Heritage in 2006, Baddeley has finished 22nd or better in five straight with three top-15s and earned a share of second in 2008. The Australian has finished 12th or better in three consecutive stoke play events until missing the cut at Redstone and finishing T40 at the Masters. Despite some streaky play, Baddeley owns a good enough record at Harbour Town to consider starting.

8. Ernie Els [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #41

Although he failed to qualify for the Masters, Els has finished 21st or better in four straight events with a pair of top-fives. The South African is currently 11th in scoring average and 16th in greens in regulation percentage. Els finished solo second at Harbour Town in 2007, but has missed two cuts in his last three starts at the site.

9. Kevin Na [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #70

Over his last half dozen stoke play events, Na has three top-five finishes and is coming off a T12 at the Masters. Na has finished inside the top 20 in half of his eight career starts at Harbour Town and scored a T9 last year. He’s playing well right now and should be a fixture in this limited field.

10. Jason Dufner [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #16

After missing seven cuts in a span of 10 events last year, Dufner has only missed one in 2012 with a streak of seven heading to Harbour Town where he finished T14 a year ago. Dufner finished T10 at Copperhead and T15 at Bay Hill before a T24 at Augusta. He currently ranks seventh in both total driving and All-Around Ranking.

11. Padraig Harrington [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #178

Coming off a T8 at the Masters (his second top 10 in six events this season), Harrington could be a sneaky play at Harbour Town despite not playing there since 2001. The Irishman has been somewhat erratic this season, but has been making cuts and is worth a look.

12. Bud Cauley [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #89

Cauley, who turned 22 years old last month, has finished 16th or better in each of his last three starts -- including a T4 at Bay Hill and a T8 at Redstone. The rookie did get a start at Harbour Town in 2010 as an amateur, but missed the cut. Cauley is currently 21st in All-Around Ranking and should not be overlooked.
