Golf Rankings for RBC Heritage
John Huh [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #88
Huh’s T14 at Redstone marks his first top-15 since winning the Mayakoba Golf Classic in late February. The rookie ranks 17th in All-Around Ranking and is a high-risk, high-reward option in his first career outing at Harbour Town.
Fredrik Jacobson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #47
Jacobson has finished 22nd or better in three of the last four at Harbour Town and has finished inside the top 20 in three of his five stroke play events this season. The Swede makes for a solid, if unspectacular, play this week.
Taylor was a late addition to the field, but worth looking at. After opening the season with three straight missed cuts, he’s recovered to notch three finishes of 21st or better in three of the last four.
Brian Gay [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #109
After a T6 at the Sony Open, Gay has just one top-20 in seven starts while missing two cuts. Gay won at Harbour Town in 2009 and has finished T32 and T36 in the last two years.
In nine starts this season Cink has one top-15 and two top-30s, but has missed two of his last three cuts. Cink owns two wins at Harbour Town from 2000 and 2004, but you’d like to see more consistency in order to trust him with a start.
Carl Pettersson [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #34
Before his solo second at Redston, Pettersson had missed two straight cuts and finished outside of the top 30 in six straight. The Swede started the season with a share of second at the Sony Open, so he’s been something of an all-or-nothing player.
