13. Scott Verplank [Yahoo Class C]

Verplank is one of the few members of this week's field we might consider for classification as "elite", though his 2011 resume fails to offer unqualified hope. If he's capable of getting right, it will be in his homeland of Texas against a challenged field short on known commodities.

14. Charley Hoffman [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #83

Hoffman is one of the more accomplished golfers in this week's field (not that he's won a ton, but he has finished in the mix more than most). He owns one of the best Texas Open resumes available for hire. The only thing we are missing is momentum.

15. Steve Flesch [Yahoo Class C]

Flesch is going to be a tough proposition for most fantasy owners as he tends to disappoint and has struggled to show his competitive colors this season (or last season for that matter). However, he knows this track, he is proven on this track, and this week's lackluster field has us in his corner.

16. Angel Cabrera [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #85

Cabrera is a fun-loving vet with the ability to leave last week's experience at The Masters (where, once again, he was in the hunt for a top finish) behind while putting those same skills to use on a completely different track in San Antonio. He knows this course and he knows how to win.

17. Brandt Snedeker [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #20

Snedeker is respected as one of the more talented up-and-coming American golfers on the scene, and while he lacks experience and success at the TPC San Antonio, it appears his style of play should be a great fit for this particular track.

18. Ricky Barnes [Yahoo Class C]

Barnes has floated in and out of the golf conscience on various occasions over recent seasons and the Texas Open has become a spot where that rise might be expected. He has the length to find optimal spots for his irons, though he has struggled to make good on his talent this season.

19. Jhonattan Vegas [Yahoo Class C]

Vegas has fallen off the frantic pace he set early in the season, but this particular track and the formulation of the TPC San Antonio suggests he could rise to the occasion. He's not afraid to get after it and this course will reward such emotion.

20. John Rollins [Yahoo Class B] - World Ranking: #135

Rollins is a career grinder who occasionally enters the radar for fantasy owners based on venue or the rare event of a challenged, shallow field. Both of those circumstances are in place this week and as such we have to get Rollins on your short list of candidates.

21. Charles Howell III [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #56

Few have enjoyed the consistent performance put forth by CH3 through the early weeks of the 2011 PGA season, and a thorough review shows he is more than capable of fighting for oversized checks regardless of venue. If he maintains his level of play, he'll be in the mix.

22. Kevin Na [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #70

Evaluate pure talent and you'll rank Na as one of the most alluring options in this week's field. Unfortunately he has failed to make good on this particular track and a bit of struggle over recent weeks on the Tour suggests you may want to temper expectation.

23. Brian Gay [Yahoo Class A] - World Ranking: #168

Gay has fallen far from his season of multiple wins in 2009, but he has more than enough game to compete on this particular track against this particular field. He needs to keep his putter pure as it often serves as his downfall, but if he can take advantage of these greens, Gay could surprise.

24. John Senden [Yahoo Class C] - World Ranking: #54

Senden may be one of the more underrated veteran commodities on the Tour and as such we tend to look in his direction any time the field turns sour. This week we have serious concerns about the list of viable option and that makes Senden a candidate regardless of lacking history on this course.
