Redskins will re-sign Santana Moss to 3-year contract

Sorry, Devin Hester. No matter how much you wanted it to happen, Santana Moss @EIGHTTODANINE isn't coming to Chicago. In fact, Moss is staying in D.C. According to Pro Football Talk, Moss and the 'Skins have agreed upon a three-year deal worth $15 million. Moss will get $6 million guaranteed, and it includes a $5 million signing bonus. Moss, 32, was inconsistent last season, but he ended up with some very nice totals -- 93 catches, 1,115 yards and six touchdowns.

Fantasy Analysis:

Now we'll see if Moss remains the No. 1 WR option in Washington or whether the Redskins continue to chase Santonio Holmes @ToneTime10. In any case, understand that while being the No. 1 guy, either of them will have to cope with John Beck or Rex Grossman delivering the ball. Maybe the QBs will make fools of us all, but those names can't be considered a good thing for the fantasy value of any Redskins wideout. As such, I think Moss is a fringe WR3 in a 12-team league. He carries more value in PPR leagues.
