Brian Schottenheimer named Rams' offensive coordinator

A lot of New York Jets fans wanted offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer out after the Jets collapsed down the stretch, and they got their wish last week when Scottenheimer and the team mutually parted ways last week. But the Jets' loss is Jeff Fisher's gain. Schottenheimer was hired on Saturday to be the St. Louis Rams' OC.

Fantasy Analysis:

Schottenheimer fills the void left by Josh McDaniels, who had one really disappointing year in St. Louis and then exploited a loophole by joining New England for the playoffs. I think Schottenheimer is a good coach; Mark Sanchez is the main problem in New York's offense. Sam Bradford carries a lot of pressure, but Schottenheimer will make sure than Steven Jackson @sj39 gets the rock A LOT. If this team can re-sign Brandon Lloyd @mrblloyd and then draft Justin Blackmon with the second pick in April's draft, Schottenheimer will have a nice group of playmakers to work with next season.
