Colts hire Bruce Arians as offensive coordinator

After hiring the defensive-minded Chuck Pagano to be their head coach, the Indianapolis Colts and owner Jim Irsay needed to find an offensive coordinator. They have found it in Bruce Arians. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Arians will fly to Indy on Monday to finalize his contract. Arians said last week that he was retiring from coaching, but that move came out of bitterness after the Pittsburgh Steelers forced him out. He had been the Steelers' offensive coordinator for the past five seasons.

Fantasy Analysis:

Arians' pass-first mentality didn't sit well with the Steelers' brass, but it works out just fine for the Colts, who will take Andrew Luck in April's draft and may still pick up Peyton Manning's massive option bonus in March. Wide receivers Reggie Wayne @Reggie_Wayne87 and Pierre Garcon @PierreGarcon will be free agents, but they could also benefit greatly from Arians' aggressive playcalling.
