Dolphins select QB Ryan Tannehill at No. 8
The Miami Dolphins need a quarterback. They took one with the eighth pick in Thursday's draft. They most likely reached for him, but again, the Dolphins needed a quarterback. Texas A&M's Ryan Tannehill is their man now. He has landed on a team with some familiarity to him since Miami's offensive coordinator, Mike Sherman, was Tannehill's college coach.
Fantasy Analysis:
He's athletic and has drawn comparisons to Jake Locker, for whatever that's worth. But Tannehill isn't seen by many as ready to step in right away and have a bunch of success. If he's not deemed ready by September, Matt Moore
could be begin the season as Miami's starting QB and keep the seat warm. Regardless of who is under center, I'm not a fan of any QB here since the Dolphins still have a huge void at wide receiver, especially with the news that Devone Bess had a torn ACL to go along with the previously known torn MCL. This is still going to be a bad team in 2012.
