Cardinals draft WR Michael Floyd

The Arizona Cardinals decided to add some offensive help on the outside when they took Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd with the 13th pick of Thursday's NFL Draft. Floyd, at 6-foot-3, 224 pounds, is known for his soft hands and leaping ability. But most importantly for the Cardinals, he may be able to draw some attention away from Larry Fitzgerald @LarryFitzgerald.

Fantasy Analysis:

Floyd will battle against both Early Doucet and Andre Roberts @AndreRoberts to be the Cardinals' No. 2 WR right away, but he's more talented than both. Regardless, that's a pretty nice quartet of wideouts for Arizona. I think Floyd can be a solid possession wide receiver right away and post some decent fantasy totals -- the final numbers will be close between him and Blackmon this season. Now, can Kevin Kolb @KevinKolb_4 get the ball to him consistently? That may be Floyd's biggest on-field question in 2012.
