Titans add WR Kendall Wright
The Tennessee Titans selected Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright with the 20th pick of the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday. Wright is an explosive, down-field weapon at 5-foot-10. He ran a relatively slow 40-yard dash at the combine -- 4.61 -- but he looks to be much faster that that on the field. He caught 108 passes for more than 1,600 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2011 with Robert Griffin III throwing him the ball.
Fantasy Analysis:
And now he'll get to work with Jake Locker or Matt Hasselbeck
. After a poor combine showing and rumors that he wasn't in great physical shape, there were reports that Wright could fall into the second or third round. But the Titans are banking on his big-play ability. With Kenny Britt
and Nate Washington, he'll probably see a lot of time in 2012 working out of the slot. Right now, he's purely a reserve WR in deep fantasy leagues.
