Jets select talented but raw WR Stephen Hill in 2nd round

The New York Jets attempted to address their need for a true No. 2 wide receiver by trading up to select Georgia Tech wideout Stephen Hill on Friday. In return for the No. 43 pick, the Jets sent pick Nos. 47, 154 and 232 to the Seattle Seahawks. Hill, 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, ran a 4.36-40 at the combine. He also averaged 29.3 yards per catch in Tech's limited passing offense last season.

Fantasy Analysis:

The Jets' VP scouting has already compared Hill to Calvin Johnson. So, you know, no pressure. From a size and speed standpoint, I guess the comparison isn't completely off. But Hill caught just 28 passes last season in the Yellow Jackets' run-heavy system. There are obvious questions about his route knowledge, but Hill certainly has the height to be a red-zone factor right away. But he'll definitely need some time -- like a season or two -- to develop into a consistent fantasy producer.
