16. Elliott Sadler, #19 Dodge Dealers Dodge, Gillett-Evernham Motorsports

Which Sadler will show up? The one that finished 12th place in Las Vegas and 8th in Charlotte, or the one that looked awful at Atlanta and Texas. He won't be on my roster, but if everything comes together he could again score a top 10 in Chicago (which he has done just one time in seven starts).

17. Clint Bowyer, #07 Jack Daniel's Chevrolet, Richard Childress Racing

Like Sadler, you're not sure what type of result you will get this weekend from Bowyer. He was 6th in Atlanta after leading 52 laps, turning it around after his 28th place finish in Vegas. He was 10th in Texas, but just 25th in Charlotte. Over the past couple of years, he has been great on the 1.5 mile tracks. He was a solid 10th last year at Chicago, but is best used elsewhere in the stacked class A group.

18. Kurt Busch, #2 Miller Lite Dodge, Penske Racing South

Busch's 11th in Atlanta and 16th in Charlotte are the closest things he has to highlights on the 1.5 mile tracks this season. He does have 5 top 10's in 7 starts in Chicago and is riding some momentum after 2 top 5's in a row at New Hampshire (won) and Daytona (4th).

19. David Ragan, #6 AAA Ford, Roush-Fenway Racing

Ragan was 7th in Vegas, 14th in Fontana, 23rd in Atlanta, 13th in Texas, and 12th in Charlotte. He hasn't been a candidate to win though and he's classified in the same group as Biffle, Kyle Busch, and Earnhardt.

20. Bobby Labonte, #43 Cheerios Dodge, Petty Enterprises

Labonte was a solid 11th in Charlotte, 17th in Vegas, 20th in Texas, and 12th at Atlanta. Relative to other class B drivers who have a chance to win, Labonte isn't a very good choice.

21. Casey Mears, #5 Kellogg's/Carquest Chevrolet, Hendrick Motorsports

Mears was 13th and 17th at Las Vegas and Atlanta, 22nd in Texas, and 29th in Charlotte a year after winning there. He was 5th in Chicago and 4th in Kansas last year, but there are a lot better class B choices after seeing him run in the Car of Tomorrow this season.

22. Martin Truex, Jr., #1 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet, Dale Earnhardt Inc

Truex is best used elsewhere. He hasn't finished in the top 10 this season on a 1.5 mile track. He may get in gear later this season, but for right now there are tons of better selections even in class B.

23. Travis Kvapil, #28 Ford, Robert Yates Racing

Kvapil has consistency that drivers in the class C group outside of Brian Vickers don't have. He finished in the top 10 in Las Vegas and followed that up with a 20th place run in Atlanta and an 18th at Texas. He was a disappointing 26th in Charlotte, but is still a great class C option.

24. Reed Sorenson, #41 Target Dodge, Chip Ganassi Racing

Sorenson was 18th in Las Vegas, 31st at Atlanta, 24th in Texas, and 22nd in Charlotte. He was 6th at Loudon a couple weeks ago and in his two races at Chicago he has finished 7th and 12th. He may be a sleeper pick in the class B group this weekend, although I don't think I'd take a chance on him.

25. Paul Menard, #15 Menard's Chevrolet, Dale Earnhardt Inc.

Menard is another great class C option after finishes of 22nd in Las Vegas, 19th in Atlanta, and 17th at Texas. Like Kvapil, he has been fairly consistent, only marred by a 41st at Charlotte after his car overheated.

26. Jamie McMurray, #26 Crown Royal Ford, Roush-Fenway Racing

McMurray's best finish on a 1.5 mile speedway this season is 14th at Texas. He has 1 top 10 in 5 starts in Chicago and is another person you should not consider for your class B roster.

27. Dave Blaney, #22 Caterpillar Toyota, Bill Davis Racing

Blaney was 21st in Texas and also scored a 9th place run at Darlington (showing that the team can be competitive). He was 17th in Charlotte, but is not nearly good enough to be considered for your class B roster.

28. David Reutimann, #44 UPS Toyota, Michael Waltrip Racing

Reutimann was 10th in Charlotte, scoring his best finish of the season. Based on that run alone, he should be considered for your class C roster despite not doing much else throughout the year.

29. Juan Pablo Montoya, #42 Texaco Havoline Dodge, Chip Ganassi Racing

Juan Pablo was 19th in Vegas, 16th in Atlanta, 19th in Texas, and 30th in Charlotte. Last season's top 5 in the spring at Atlanta is a distant memory and any thought of him on your roster this weekend should be removed from your head as well.

30. Sam Hornish, #77 Mobil 1 Dodge, Penske Racing South

This has to be the most shocking inclusion on the rankings this week, but Hornish was 13th in Charlotte and 22nd a few weeks ago in Michigan. The 13th place finish was the best of his career and one of the few bright spots during the season. Still, Chicago is a 1.5 mile track (like Charlotte) and Hornish may be worth the risk on your roster this weekend.
