2010 NFL Mock DraftRound 1 of 11. STL: Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
Suh showed against Texas that he is the most dominant player in college football and the best player available in the 2010 draft. At this point the Rams simply have to go with the best overall player, and passing on a QB will be made easier by Jake Locker's decision to stay in school. 2. DET: Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
Detroit also needs to go with the best available player regardless of position (except, of course, not a quarterback). That could mean Eric Berry, but it also could mean Okung, who would provide protection for Matthew Stafford. 3. TB: Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma*
The Bucs either need to move up to No. 1 or hope St. Louis and Detroit somehow lose if Tampa Bay wants to get its hands on Suh, but McCoy would not be a bad alternative in an effort to improve at defensive tackle. 4. WAS: Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame*
The Redskins are completely starting over with Mike Shanahan now at the helm, so they might as well start over with a new franchise quarterback. Clausen was unable to lead Notre Dame back to prominence, but he projects well to the next level. 5. KC: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee*
Okung is a possibility here if he slips, as the Chiefs need to upgrade up front. But new defensive coordinator would be thrilled with Berry, who is an extremely athletic, hard-hitting safety. 6. SEA: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma*
Following in the footsteps of the Redskins, Seattle has also started over with a new coach (Pete Caroll) and now needs to get him a quarterback. Bradford could have been No. 1 overall last year had he left before getting injured. 7. CLE: Joe Haden, CB, Florida*
Haden is part of a mass exodus out of Florida, and why not? He is the best cornerback in this class and a possible Top 10 pick. The Browns need to gamble on the chance that Haden is the next Darrelle Revis. 8. OAK: Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech*
Al Davis loves taking talented prospects sooner than they are expected to go off the board. Morgan, the ACC Player of the Year, is seeing his stock soar after a huge season at Georgia Tech. 9. BUF: Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa*
The Bills would probably like to get their hands on McCoy (Suh is out of the question), but that is a longshot at this point. Nonetheless, Bulaga was huge for Iowa this season and could really shore up Buffalo's offensive front. 10. JAX: Tim Tebow, QB, Florida
Sure college is a whole different ballgame, but at least Tebow ended his illustrious career with his best-ever passing performance. The Jaguars have to be tempted to pull the trigger. *Underclassmen
