2009 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Javon Ringer, RB, Michigan St.
Javon Ringer was due to participate in January's Senior Bowl, but was a late scratch due to injury.
Javon Ringer is still recovering from injury and it showed at the NFL Combine. He ran a much slower than expected 4.60 second 40 yard dash, but did log 23 reps on the bench press. Ringer is a solid third down back prospect, but injuries and his slow 40 may drop him into the fourth round.
Javon Ringer lowered his 40 yard dash time to 4.5 seconds, which should help him some come draft day. Teams may take the fact that he was injured into account, and he could climb into the end of round three.

I think he needs to go to a team with a successful under-sized running back like jacksonville's Maurice
Jones-Drew or San Francisco's Frank Gore where he can learn some techniques to become a successful
NFL running back. Javon also needs to bulk up a little and gain 10-15 pounds to survive in the NFL. That has
to be javon ringers way of developing into a quality NFL back.

But I do agree with lionsguy it would be cool if javon came to detroit, even if detroit is incredibly suckish

If you're looking at stats for Ringer well you should expect him to split the load and put up 120 carries, 550 rush yards, 25-40 receptions, 100-250 reception yards, and 4-8 touchdowns
