Wow don't be so hard on this guy, tried too hard to live up to the hype when he settles down will be a great one but it will take a few years to shine kinda like Adrian Wilson

If The Raiders draft Taylor Mays it will be a huge upgrade at safety he is way better Mike Mitchell or Tyvon Branch Mays is a beast and a heavy hitter something The Raiders dont have these days .......WILL BE A GOOD DRAFT CHOICE !!!!!

Why do most articles say this guy is a heavy hitter with no ball skills, but this one says just the opposite.

Look Mays is a different kind of safety. Is Bob Sanders any less of a player than Ed Reed because he doesnt intercept 9 passes a year. Mays will be a very good run stopping safety. He is a phenominal athlete, who has a freakish combination of size and speed. He needs to work on his tackling and coverage some but that can be fixed. He can lay the lumber, but he misses open field tackles far to much. He will be a solid NFL player.

this is a good player who can hit, run, and catch. All of you saying that he will be a bust have to think. He had to live up to pro-bowl like hype. I think he will be a good choice and can live up to some, but not alot of hype

Late 1st round.
someone will overlook his inability to cover. Maybe the Cowboys will look for the next Roy Williams.

Along with Tim Tebow and Brandon Spikes, Taylor Mays is one the most overated players in draft history, This has Al Davis and "BUST" all over it!
