how the heck can you have tebow rated as the #3 QB? he is simply horrible .. that is almost as shocking as having Suh ranked ahead of Berry - who the heck is better than berry? .. i think i will look elsewhere for my draft research .. lol

tebow is a horrible excuse for an NFL QB .. i say 5th round because I really feel he should go undrafted, but some retard GM will end his career by taking tebow as an early pick so this is an average of what should happen and what will happen ..
leadership/character is only meaningful if you are talented enough to play in the first place .. tebow looked so horrible at the senior bowl that it was hilarious

All of you commenting on Tebow being horrible, but still listing him as a 2nd round pick give me a break! He is a winner, so throw the mechanics out the window. He might be a bust, but quit acting like you know how he will end up in the NFL. Vince Young throws sidearm too! I'll bet he will end up winning a Super Bowl!

No way he's a first round pick. He's maybe a second round pick. Maybe. Probably not. I can see the Pats taking a flier on him in the late second or early third round because BB will be interested in putting in a wildcat package. If he's ever going to be great in this league he's going to have to go through a transformation; the QB of a defense. If he moves to MLB then he can utilize his athleticism and leadership abilities to their fullest potential. As a QB he'll never be more than a specialty player and a 3rd stringer.

Tebow will never be an NFL quarterback. He made a big mistake playing QB at the senior bowl.

Tebow will never be a quarterback in the NFL. Nor will he be a first rounder.

I'm a Gator fan so forgive the bias if any comes across. I'm attempting to look at this analytically.
Everything everyone has said before me makes sense. Tebow has been in a system which caters to his strengths. But I believe someone earlier said that the Spread Offense is more automated than any NFL offensive system. I don't agree with that but that's for another discussion.
Tebow may not make it in the NFL due to historical examples like Alex Smith. But don't rule him out strictly based on the NFL being different than college. Sure he may have been finely tuned to the spread offense but the kid is a quick learner and a competitor. During one year of off season conditioning, the Gator staff had to restrict him from benching more than his O and D linemen because he wanted to show them that as the team's leader he had to lead by example. That's just one example of many in his college career that he is ultra-competitive, a good leader, teammate and perfectionist.
Bottom line is that his mechanics can be worked on, he can learn a new system because he won't quit until he has it down to memory and he loves adversity and getting hit by defensive players. I'm certain he is listening to all the "noise" and making mental notes. In the face of adversity, this guy excels. I predict he'll go in the third round despite hype but be a lot better than most people are giving him credit for.

Tebow was a big and fast qb. Now i will be the first to say it. I HATE TEBOW !! Now saying that i think he is big and fast enough to be a goal-line quarter back but shouldn't be able to start as a premier nfl qb. when you say "Oh tebow is awesome, tebow is great" you have to think that even Kirk Herbstreit could do good agains Mississipi State University. Just don't think that he is a good enough pure bread qb to excel at the next level

Tim Tebow. Argueably the greatest college football player in the history of the sport. A two time national champ, and the first underclassmen to win the Heisman trophy. The man has just about done it all at the college level. What does he have in him for his second act. Well I dont know if it is going to be a good second act for Tim Tebow. As a person he is one on the most amazing I have seen, as a player outside of a taylor made Florida system I see many flaws. He has one of the oddest releases I have ever seen. He has never had to have good footwork, because he works out a spread. He was not the same player this year without Harvin and Louis Murphy on the outside. He has never had to truly read defenses. With that said Tebow has some positives. He is a supreme leader, who could make his team mates run through a mountain for him. He is accurate. He is very mobile. Finally he is Tim Tebow and he knows how to win. In the right system Tebow could have a solid if not spectacular career. If he is rushed on the field or just thrown into a system he will fall out of the league in three years.

This is a QB that was stuck behind a defense that was superior to any other in CFB. I think tim has not shown his talents only time will tell if this guy pans out to be a good NFLer
