2008 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

Mike Dragosavich, K, North Dakota State

Dragosavich is an outstanding athlete for a punter. He lettered in both baseball and football while in high school. After playing as a redshirt freshman in the 2003 season, he had 54 punts for an average of 41.3 yards per attempt with a long of 63 yards in 2004. He was named to the All Great West Football Conference Second Team squad after making 47 punts for 46.5 averaged with a long of 79. He made only 30 punts for an average of 46.2 per attempt with a long of 67. During his senior campaign, Dragosavich made 37 punts for an average of 45.4 per attempt. He is an athletic player who is tall and well built. He has a real strong leg drive and his punts consistently have good hang times. He is a long strider, but takes too long to unload a punt. He did not face top competition and did not attempt many punts in his last two seasons. Dragosavich is an interesting prospect. He has the necessary talent to merit a flyer late in the draft. Even if he is not drafted (which is a real possibility), he has a good chance to make an NFL roster. He could be a real sleeper.
