Mays was impressive. At 6'3 230 with a 4.43 40 official 40 yard dash and 41" vert, he will defiantly go early in the draft

I have seen Mays play muliple times. I am very unimpressed. He shys away from contact in the run game and isn't great in pass protection. He will go late first round becuase people will fall inlove with the body and athleticism. He will never be anything more than average. Don't believe the hype!

Hilltopper, are you seriously comparing Mays with Roy Williams? RW runs like a 5.0 40! Nice comment!

Don't listen to people who say he was overrated! He was gameplanned against every week, that is why his interceptions have been down since his freshman year, especially this year when the talent around him was very weak for USC standards. He is the second best safety in the draft and fits the mold of an Adrian Wilson, but faster.

Late 1st round.
someone will overlook his inability to cover. Maybe the Cowboys will look for the next Roy Williams.

this is a good player who can hit, run, and catch. All of you saying that he will be a bust have to think. He had to live up to pro-bowl like hype. I think he will be a good choice and can live up to some, but not alot of hype

Look Mays is a different kind of safety. Is Bob Sanders any less of a player than Ed Reed because he doesnt intercept 9 passes a year. Mays will be a very good run stopping safety. He is a phenominal athlete, who has a freakish combination of size and speed. He needs to work on his tackling and coverage some but that can be fixed. He can lay the lumber, but he misses open field tackles far to much. He will be a solid NFL player.

Why do most articles say this guy is a heavy hitter with no ball skills, but this one says just the opposite.
