Arian Foster Scouting Report
NFL Combine Results
2009 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report: Arian Foster, RB, Tennessee
The NFL stocks of all Tennessee players are going nowhere fast, and that definitely includes Foster's. After a strong start to the season, Foster has been stalled throughout the last five games for the Volunteers, who are 3-4 overall and 1-3 in the SEC at the moment. Foster has failed to find the endzone this season; not on the ground nor through the air. The running back is also starting to lose a significant chunk of carries to sophomore Lennon Creer. It's hard to imagine things turning around in Knoxville because of how bad they are going right now, but that does not mean Foster can't get back on track in the NFL. His physical skills are undeniable and he proved as a junior in 2007 that he can be ridiculously productive. Foster, who stands at 6'1'' and 216 pounds and can run under 4.5 in the 40 despite that hulking frame, racked up 1193 yards and 12 touchdowns on 245 yards last season. He also added 340 yards and two scores on 39 receptions. While Foster's stock might be at a low point right now, that ability should allow him to pick it back up during the combine and other off-season workouts. Foster can still go in the second or third round in the 2009 draft. Last Updated Oct-21-2008 by Ricky Dimon 0 Comments | Add Yours There are no comments on this prospect yet.
