2010 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person
Blair White, WR, Michigan State
Blair White is off to a fantastic start to his 2009. The Spartan senior finished his career by catching 70 passes for 990 yards and 9 touchdowns in 13 games. This is a marked improvement from his junior season, which he finished with 43 catches for 659 yards and just a single touchdown. White can do a lot of things for a team at the wide receiver position. He's not a physical receiver, but he can use his size to attack the ball against smaller defensive backs. He also runs exceptional routes, which compensates for his lack of ideal athleticism. White's experience as a special teams player his first two years at Michigan State may also prove valuable to an NFL team. He's shifty enough to return punts and can play as a gunner on the punt unit. Because of his lack of production during his first three years as a Spartan, NFL teams will need to see a lot from him during the offseason. If he can run a good time at the NFL Combine, White could land in the late third or mid-fourth round range in the 2010 draft. Blair White had a rocky start to his week at the East-West Shrine Game. He was criticized by coaches all week for catching the ball with his body, and by game time it appeared he had gotten the message. White tallied 7 catches for 93 yards during the game, at times making gorgeous catches. White is a solid receiver, who is likely to be drafted in the fourth to fifth round range. Blair White continues to look better every time he works out. He has continued to improve on catching the ball away from his body, and lowered his 40 time from 4.5 seconds at the combine to 4.42 seconds at his pro day. White has worked his way into the fourth round, and possibly could sneak into the late third with the right team.

Blair White is a sleeper in this draft. solid hands and likes going over the middle. could be a tremendous slot in a few years. good size as well help over the middle against nickles and line backers

Prediction: 4th Round
I like this guys physicality and with his vertical he can go up. One thing h lacks is the blazing speed though but he makes up for it because he is not afraid to go over the middle. I like Denver picking him up with the whole Marshall conflict

Will get picked earlier than expected because of his sure hands and respose to coaching.
