2011 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Denarius Moore, WR, Tennessee
He has been clocked as fast as 3.36 in the 40-yard dash and he has helped his stock during this offseason. He ran a 4.37 at Tennessee's Pro Day to improve upon his 4.43 at the combine, where he also turned in a 36'' vertical. Among his other check marks in the positive category are great hands, running great routes, and zero off-the-field issues. Thanks to a solid senior season followed by impressive workouts, Moore is enjoying some momentum right now.
Injuries are not too much of a red flag for Moore. He got off to a slow start in 2009 due to a foot problem, but he remained mostly healthy for the remainder of his career. Moore does not have great size at 6'0'' and a generous 194 pounds, so he is going to have to develop more explosiveness off the ball since he will never get too physical with opposing cornerbacks. All things considered, look for Moore to go off the board during the third or fourth round of the upcoming draft.
