2011 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person

Will Hill, S, Florida

Hill has been a significant contributor for the Florida Gators ever since stepping on campus in 2008. The safety mostly played on special teams in his first season, but he led Florida in special teams tackles in each of his first two campaigns. Hill's role increased as a sophomore and he made 42 tackles while starting five games. Through six games as a junior, Hill has 35 tackles (14 solo, one for loss), one forced fumble, and two interceptions. He ran back one of those picks for 89 yards, although he did not quite make it to the endzone.

Hill has good size at 6'1'', 207 pounds, and he has been clocked at 4.46 in the 40-yard dash. To say his athleticism is NFL-worthy would be an understatement. On the other hand, his fundamentals are not perfect and he can often get beat either through the air or when trying to make tackles. He might leave early even though another year in Gainesville would probably do him plenty of good. If he enters the draft, a strong finish to the season could allow him to sneak into round two.
