2012 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Bryce Beall, RB, Houston
Beall looks the part of a running back. He's thick in his lower body and has a muscular frame. However, he lacks speed and runs stiff with an upright gait. Houston used the shotgun formation a lot and while Beall does have plenty of experience running in front of a zone-blocking scheme, there's nothing that jumps out on tape when you watch him run.
Beall can't make players miss routinely. He struggles to quickly process what the defense is doing pre-snap in order to find the correct running lanes. When moving through the line of scrimmage, minimal contact slows him down and can often bring him down. At times, he does play with good leverage, but is too inconsistent with his pad level for such a sub-par athlete.
He looks the part, but there is very little chance Beall is drafted in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Bryce Beall will be a real good #2 RB in the Pros. When he learns to pickup the blitz and catch the ball out of the backfield he could be really impressive.
