2013 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
person
Tavarres King, WR, Georgia
University of Georgia wide receiver Tavarres King was the heir apparent to Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green. While he lacks that elite potential, King is an undersized overachiever. Above-average straight-line speed with slowly-improving route running. Needs to get in and out of his breaks with more definitive action. Can track the ball well behind his back. Legit second gear to strength the defense. Looks for yards after the catch, but will sometimes fail to simply get north and south. Lacks tenacity when blocking. Fluid runner and excellent body control. Above-average hands.
